How to DIY Beautiful Wedding Centerpieces for only $25
Designing your own wedding table centerpieces can be so hard and confusing when you’re not a wedding planner, interior designer, or someone with an eye for aesthetics.
So just buy them or have someone make them for you, right?
Sure, if you want spend between $80-$500 per table 😳
Question: Think back to all the weddings you’ve been to. How many of them do you actually remember what the table decor looked like? 🤔
One? NONE?
Exactly.
It’s not worth the stress OR the debt to try to build extravagant tables!
AND - it’s okay to desire a beautiful wedding, simply for the enjoyment of the day.
As a recent bride, I came up with a solution for us all:
I created STUNNING tables (seriously, we got so many compliments on the beauty of our weddings!) for only $25-$30 per table with BRAND NEW Amazon products.
Better yet?
EVERYTHING you see below sold SO QUICKLY to other brides in my post-wedding sale via Facebook Marketplace at 30-50% off what I originally paid…so I ended up getting most of my money back!!!

Unfortunately our photographers didn’t capture our circle guest tables at the reception, so I recreated them to give you an idea of what they looked like (middle photo)
For the rectangular head table we used the same items, staggered them down the middle/front (to give us room to eat), and added a runner.
Not doing neutrals/browns for your colors?
No worries! All of these items come in many color options.
TO RE-CREATE THESE TABLES:
Decide on how many tables you’ll need
Multiply that number by 3. This is how many of each item (bud vases, votives, and pillar & tealight candles) you’ll need
I.e. 25 tables (guest + head) = 75 so I’d need:
75 pillar candles
75 bud vases
75 tealight candle votives
75 tealight candle votives
Don’t forget lighters!

IMPORTANT NOTES:
In the center photo above, the roses are fake (crazy, right??) and the baby’s breath is real. I suggest adding real baby’s breath to contribute to the illusion of the roses being real!
In the two outside photos of my actual wedding, the florals are real:
Unfortunately I didn’t discover these very real-looking fake roses until after the fact (I would have saved so much money 😭) Just being transparent, but when you look at all these photos side-by-side it’s hard to tell the difference, right?
For the head table we had 6 empty vases set out for my bridesmaids to put their bouquets in upon arrival into the reception! It was the perfect way to repurpose them.
TO SAVE EVEN MORE MONEY 💸:
You could omit the pillar candles. They add a lot more glow, but the tables will still look beautiful even without them (see the photo I used as inspo below)
Choose the bud vases & tealight candle votives that come in bulk and are therefore cheaper per item
Search Facebook Marketplace for used vases, votives, and pillar candles!
I explain how to set our tables up in this Tiktok, but I recommend doing 3-5 tealight candle votives, 3 bud vases, and 3 pillar candles (if you’re using them) per table! Odd numbers look better aesthetically.
Your total cart $$ will be high if you’re buying these all at once, but when you divide it by how many tables you have you’ll see that it comes out to be around $25-$30 each table, which is a great deal less than what you’d pay a florist or planner to create them for you!
REMEMBER: you’ll be able to sell them after on FB Marketplace! Click here to see the video I created with tips on doing so

As you can see in this photo, this wedding only used bud vases, tealight candle votives + candles, and a table number then filled the vases with real flowers.
Simple and stunning!
